LIVE & WORK AT CAMP on CAPE COD this summer:

StaffCamp Farley Outdoor Education Center offers a co-ed, day and overnight camp program for youngsters 6 to 15 years of age. Located on one of Cape Cod's largest freshwater lakes, Camp Farley offers swimming, canoeing, kayaking, snorkeling, nature, barnyard animals, horseback riding, gardening, arts and crafts, theater, music, recreation, archery, non-competitive games, challenge initiatives, outdoor living skills, fishing, and a whole lot more. Camp Farley looks for enthusiastic staff to be role models and willing to share their skills and knowledge, show concern and dedication, and be productive members of a structured camp community.


PROGRAM DEPARTMENTS

Creative Arts: Traditional arts and crafts; Some informal theater activities
Nature / Agriculture: Nature based activities; Barnyard Animals; Gardening
Recreation / Outdoor Living Skills: Games, Low/high ropes & challenge initiatives; Archery, Weekly teen campouts
Waterfront (Certified & Experienced): Swimming instruction, Free Swim, Games, Canoeing, Kayaking
Department Head: Must have prior work experience and leadership qualities in one of the four program departments listed above. Semi private housing is provided. Waterfront Head must possess relevant certification. Min. age of 21 preferred.

Camp Directors

Program Counselors - Must have skills and/or interest in at least one of the four program departments listed above. Min. age is 18. Positions involving canoeing, kayaking, life guarding, or archery require specialized training, but Camp Farley may be able to provide this certification to prospective candidates if needed.

COMPENSATION : Competitive salaries are commensurate with position and experience. Staff are also provided with room, meals, and limited accident and sickness health coverage.

LIVING AND WORKING CONDITIONS : Program counselors reside with campers during the week, with all campers leaving Friday evening of each week. Department Heads and support staff are provided with private or semi-private living quarters. Staff are off-duty from 8:30 PM Friday to 12:30 PM Sunday. In addition to a daily "period" off, staff have two evenings off, 9:00 PM to Midnight, during the week (Monday thru Thursday).
